Bernie Sanders to campaign at Gettysburg College and Millersville University



Two local schools are about to "feel the Bern."

Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders has announced two, new campaign stops – one at Gettysburg College and one at Millersville University.

The Vermont senator at 2 p.m. Friday will hold a Gettysburg Town Hall Meeting with Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, a Hawaii Democrat.

The event will be held at Bream Wright Hauser Athletic Complex at Gettysburg College, located at the corner of West Lincoln Street and Constitution Avenue in Gettysburg.

Following that, Sanders at 7:30 p.m. Friday will hold a rally in the Pucillo Gym at Millersville University, 105 Pucillo Drive in Millersville.

As previously announced, Sanders will also host a town hall at noon Thursday in the Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple, 420 N. Washington Ave. in Scranton.

He will also be in Reading for a town hall at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Santander Performing Arts Center, 136 N. 6th St. in Reading.

I approve of his new focus on smaller intimate events. He should have done this sooner. The large rallies weren't working for him. He lost all three locations in NY where he had his huge rallies.
