Does the losing team just quit? Until a team is mathematically eliminated there is no quiting.

(3,733 posts)Should Bernie agressively try that after losing as badly as he's been losing he'll become a
caricature.
His most hardcore supporters will go back to the far edges and he'll go back to
Vermont and tell everybody how by losing he really won.
His supporters who aren't among the hardcore will have forgotten him by November
and they'll support Hillary.
The party will continue to represent Democrats.
There's not enough to his revolution to destroy the party.
The give me what I want or I'll burn it all down demographic isn't large enough
nor dominant enough in any states to swing that.
They're loud and they're angry almost to the point of being unhinged but
typical Americans aren't going to follow that.

Today, it's clear they either didn't believe that or new they feel that rule only applies to her.

(92,204 posts)will get the Super Delegates
This won't happen, but hypothetically,
If the person who did not get the most pledged delegates steals the super delegates from the person who has the most pledged delegates, and that person gets the nomination, they will lose the general election, because the vast majority of supporters of the person who won the most pledged delegates will not for the person who stole the super delegates. It is as simple as that
As I said though, that won't happen. The person who has the most pledged delegates will get the super delegates period

(55,745 posts)But if the highly affluent are thriving, the super-rich are enjoying one of the brightest epochs since the days of the robber barons. These people, according to a study by economists Steven N. Kaplan and Joshua D. Rauh, are the top 0.0001 percent of 311.5 million U.S. individuals. In constant 2011 dollars, their wealth has grown seven-fold since 1992from $214 billion in 1982 to $1.525 trillion in 2011. This at a time when most Americans have endured little or no real income growth.

Second by having temper tantrums and telling Pols directly if you don't support liberal values then you can and will be primaried. The gig is up we are learning how to grass roots organize and how to be heard.

(60,335 posts)A game is usually 60 minutes and you make is sound like it only half time.
It is more like late in the 4th quarter. And you forget that in this game every time you score, your opponent sores too.

During the final game of the 1992 regular season, the Houston Oilers defeated Buffalo 273 in Houston, where Kelly suffered strained ligaments in his knee and yielded to Reich to finish the game in his place. With Kelly out, Reich took the reins as the starter for the wild card game the following week, on January 3, 1993. The wild card game was a rematch with the Oilers, hosted in Buffalo, where they led the Bills 35-3 early in the 3rd quarter, but Reich then led the Bills on a 38-3 run en route to a 41-38 overtime victory, the largest comeback in NFL history.

Of course, you don't start committing fouls and beating up the other team just because you've mathematically lost, either.
