20 mile bike ride last night through Rmoney's hometown proves interesting.

Did my regular exercise program, I take long rides, and it was a beautiful night. As I cruised around the neighborhoods of Bloomfield, Michigan, where Rmoney grew up when his father George Romney was head of American Motors/Jeep, then later Governor of Michigan and Presidential candidate, you know, THAT Bloomfield, where Rmoney beat the crap out of some poor kid in high school because his victim was gay, THAT Bloomfield, Michigan, I decided to count the signs on front yards.

I saw 5 Rmoney/Ryan signs on my route, and 17 Obama/Biden signs in yards.

Hardly scientific, but I think it reflects on the relative levels of support. This is a pretty heavily R area, usually votes that are along party lines, such as obscure state boards, split about 60/40 in favor of R's.

I don't think it necessarily says that Team Obama has more support than usual, but to me it says enthusiasm for Rmoney is weak in Oakland County, and whoever carries Oakland carries Michigan.
