2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumBernie should be spending more $$$ trying to elect progressives to Congress.
After all, if he were to win the White House, there could be very little he could do without a friendly Congress.
Many of the "super delegates" are up for re-election. Some of them may need some help?
A political "movement" needs more than just a leader. It needs political allies. One without the other stands little chance of moving forward in the future, in my opinion.

(14,255 posts)2. I have been getting requests from Bernie to split my contribution between him and other liberal
candidates - I think we have been doing pretty well there. Bernie doesn't get the huge corporate PAC money, and Hillary is actually laundering money through the states to support her own campaign.

(11,641 posts)3. Just got a newsletter from Bernie last week raising funds for Zephyr Teachout
He raised a lot of money for Florez and Canova.
Hopefully we'll see much more of this.

Lucy Flores reports windfall after help from Bernie Sanders
LAS VEGAS (AP) Democratic Nevada congressional candidate Lucy Flores is reporting a fundraising windfall after Bernie Sanders asked his supporters to donate to her campaign.
Flores reported raising more than $428,000 in the first few weeks of April, which dwarfs the amount that she and her two main primary opponents each raised in the first three months of the year.
Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders urged his supporters last week to make a $2.70 donation to split between his and her campaigns. The fundraising email posted by political journalist Jon Ralston notes that the influential pro-choice group EMILY's List endorsed her opponent Susie Lee this cycle after Flores endorsed Sanders.
