An email tells no lies

As I have said many times, regardless of the results, I will be satisfied with whatever the FBI and Justice decide.

As is a common theme in these type of situations dealing with the mishandling of classified material, no felony charges are filled but it comes out as criminal misdemeanor charges of mishandling of classified information, which can be up to $1,000 fine and one year in jail for each incident convicted.

So, given that, if it comes down to indictment or settlement to the lower charges and it comes down to just a fine and no jail time,
Is she still viable candidate in the eyes of Democrats? In the eyes of the General Election electorate?

state of our government and the degree of corruption.

I woke up one night, turned on the tv and saw a dictator (or his representative, not sure which) being interviewed about a dictatorship. His reply included something about corruption and crony capitalism. When it is so bad that we are being lectured to by foreign dictators, something needs to be changed.

And how many of the supers do you think are going to want to vouch for her or stand beside her while that shit storm is raging?

Well I don't see any big character giants among her friends, so I'm going to say that number would be ZERO.

She committed criminal offenses regarding our national security, regardless of whether she's indicted. And she epicly botched her last high office... including a second half of the FBI's investigation dealing with corruption charges linking State Dept official favors and donations to the Clinton Foundation.

The word racketeering has been used by FBI sources regarding that investigation.

Now imagine all that in the context of the election. See it now? How many voters are going to vote for that?

Even if the FBI report didn't break until after the election, it would mean impeachment because you know the Repubs. Then what? No Dem elected for a long time without it being brought up. It is too high a price to pay, and too big a risk to take.

(I don't mean to address you, OP, I'm more thinking of the Dems who can't picture the seriousness of what's going on. I wrote it off too at first, but it's big, it's real, and it's ugly.)

The problem is that we are all going to pay for the arrogance of those who ignore this information. From where I sit that feels terrible. Time will tell.
