Picked up my canvassing list for tomorrow from the Kaine campaign-- 155 doors

Our daughter has a soccer game at 9:30 (we have treat duty) so I got the list tonight.

155 doors/people. All apartments- I should be able to knock that out in 4 hours.

Soccer game 9:30
Canvassing 10:30 - ???
Birthday-indoor pool party 1:30 - 3:30 (Mom is pulling that duty)
Halloween party 5:30 (5 families - sort of informal) at our house

Sunday sleep in and wait for the storm.....oh and start canvassing again at 12:30. Football on the radio as I pop in and out of the car.

Sunday night - Shiraz for Mom...and....wait for the storm.

I'm not even fucking around. I already posted a Go!go!go! thread for underpants, and I will now officially commence celebrating each and every ounce of effort underpants puts into this election.

RIGHT HERE, folks. You're seeing why we're gonna win this thing. Because people like underpants get up onb a Saturday morning, bring their daughters to soccer (my boy has a soccer game at 11!), then go out and knock on doors.

Then go to the birthday. Then go to the halloween party. Then brace for the damn hurricane.

HERO, people.

Philosophers Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari once wrote about the everyday exchanges that signalled the coming of the French Revolution. It wasn't the big event that told you things were going south for the monarchy. It was when the modest farmer stopped taking off his hat as the local aristocrat's carriage passed by. Small, everyday things like that. Like going to soccer games and knocking on doors and getting that Shiraz for Mom.

HERO.
