2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumNONE of the Republican candidates have given paid speeches to Wall Street either - just Hillary.
Rubio hasnt given paid speeches to Wall st. Kasisch hasnt given paid speeches to Wall Street, Cruz hasnt given paid speeches to Wall Street and Trump IS Wall Street and certainly isnt giving any paid speeches to them.
Time for Hillary to release the transcripts. She said she would release them AFTER every candidate has released theirs. Well it is done. They are released. It was a good bet while it lasted. Now she must own up to her promise and release them now

(8,173 posts)to me. We always had well paid guest speakers at our annual managers meetings - Ann Richards, Norman Schwarzkopf, Bill Cosby. They are supposed to be motivational and interesting.
A very weird obsession.

What was the American Outdoor Camping Society's quid pro quo?
The groupthink here is really worrying.

(11,076 posts)If there is no problem with the material then it's all good and we look like dicks. I feel the same about Bernie and his taxes. I would think as a Senator that his information would already be out there. I can't tell, has he put all of the information out or not? If not, I think they should get on with it, just to get it out of the way.

Still amazes me.
We are going to put a legless horse with a 'crippling disease' against a 3 legged horse with brain damage and a crutch instead of putting a horse that at least has legs outside of large minority communities and solid red states in the south.
Nobody likes her. Well, Nobody besides those who she has conned/tricked.
If people who want a Democrat to win don't want to vote for her unless out of fear of a cruz or trump then she will lose.
I can't guarantee that I won't leave the choice for President blank. (Before the Clinton fans and paid posters pounce, I live in Kansas so I don't have a voice)

(1,735 posts)The republican candidates are office holders. They are prohibited from charging for speeches because of their office. Hillary and Trump are the only candidates who are private citizens who can charge for speaking. Check speakers bureaus on the google and see what other celebrities charge. You might learn something.

Funny how the conversation is never about issues any longer. Yeah...funny.
