(5,198 posts)I can understand following your heart rather than head, or going instinctual, or identifying with someone's persona. Human nature is very interesting.
But what I am seeing are people following what they see is POWER, not only is it EASIER to follow a powerful overculture right or wrong, it feels safe --and much of the cohesion has to do with EXCLUSION. Joining up gives permission to treat others with distain, so it attracts a lot of people who need to do that. So following power is independent of ethics. It is a survival instinct on the most basic level, and not a very high one.
Sanders supporters/Progressive movement is about the distribution of power, inclusivity, sharing of information, resources and sharing the Earth. It couldn't be more different. So there is big money going into interfering with this movement at every turn, so we have to work around these people. It is helpful to see what has been going on globally, and how other countries have solved these problems, I will be studying them Thanks for posting, hope you don't mind the rant.
