Repubiicans trying to distort the abortion issue totally

They are focusing on not allowing exceptions to an abortion ban so that folks will say later that we're lucky to have those exceptions still. That ignores the fact that there shouldn't be a ban at all.

is that it is safe and legal. Anything other than that is opening the doors for an endless stream of regulations designed to prevent access IMHO

I have been raging about this. Nobody's business how conception happened. Abortion should be safe, affordable, and available to all women.

died from a botched back alley abortion...you know they'd be screaming on the media about how wrong it is that she couldn't get a safe legal abortion.

They never think about the consequences of an abortion ban. And those consequences would be DEVASTATING. They just want to control women, period.
