We need to be registered and vote, or try to. 8 years is a long time between these things.

Sanders should absolutely stay in the race through to California. He should aim to be more constructive, and focus his attacks on the Republicans while working for concessions from the Democrats. With the thread of protests from Sanders supporters, he should be able to secure some good concessions.

Also, the fact is that millennials are a fairly apathetic group (barely 20% of them voted in 2010 and 2012, and they only voted for the Democrats by about a 55-45% margin. Bernie can keep them engaged, help them rally behind Clinton (or at least against the Republicans), and then help them form a political movement that keeps the pressure on Clinton and Congress to reform.

Bernie should only back out when the Democrats make some serious concessions to his political revolution, but he should become more positive about Hillary and more direct in his attacks on the Republicans.
