Try getting your information from a reliable unbiased source the next time. Bernie-ites are pretty gullible people.

You call us gulliable yet you support the candidate who has changed positions as quickly as the second hand?

The original source is the Guardian, and the reporter, Rupert Neate, was shortlisted for two major British journalism awards.

Brock needs to pay his staff more.

Welcome to DU!

They've only been here for a couple of days. Although they do have Camp Weathervane's talking points down pretty well. Must have been studying.

are press releases from Camp Weathervane. And please use the latest one. They are not responsible for what Mrs. Clinton said yesterday -- never mind a month ago.

or just think everybody is unaware of that fact?

I don't have time to send links, so don't ask, because there will be so damn many of them confirming that information.

In wake of ‘Panama Papers’ scandal, renewed interest in tax avoidance efforts

EXCERPT...

The Clinton campaign declined to comment on why the Clintons, who live in New York and have no evident residential ties to Delaware, set up companies in the state. But the presidential candidate isn’t alone. Experts say Delaware is the most popular place to register a company in the United States, due in part to its established system of business case law and tax incentives for intellectual property and real estate holdings.

SNIP...

Hillary Clinton has promised to crack down on tax havens on the campaign trail. Referring to the Panama Papers last Wednesday, Clinton condemned “outrageous tax havens and loopholes that super-rich people across the world are exploiting in Panama and elsewhere.”

The Clinton Foundation also has three shell companies in Delaware, according to its amended financial disclosures released last year.

One is the Acceso Fund, LLC, which was registered by the Corporation Trust Company at 1209 North Orange Street in 2009. The Clinton Foundation has used the company to channel money to its Colombia-based private equity fund, Fondo Acceso.

The private equity fund, which is run out of the Clinton Foundation’s Bogota office, has invested in telecom and food processing companies in Colombia, the Free Beacon reported last November.

Another Clinton Foundation company, Acceso Worldwide Fund, Inc., was registered in 2013 by the Corporation Services Company, located in Wilmington, Delaware.

A third company, the Haiti Development Fund, LLC, was registered in 2010 by National Corporate Research, Ltd, located in Dover.

How can they cram so many businesses into one tiny place? It seems like magic. While I don't understand the process, I believe it's like what they do it to the nation's wealth and money: cram what takes a nation of millions of workers to produce into the pockets of a few thousand connected cronies.

TARDI$ = Total Awards Really Demand Instant Stashing or Cash-n-Carry Only.

What makes the Clintons different than most business tycoons, many of whom are featured on the Forbes World’s Billionaires list, is that they have made their fortune in straight cash, not equity gains. The people featured on our billionaires list are worth far more than the Clintons, but the vast majority of their wealth is wrapped up in their ownership of various companies. Many of the billionaires on our list take in less cash each year than the Clintons. Bill and Hillary’s liquidity gives them a war chest to employ during political campaigns. In 2008, Hillary loaned her campaign $13.2 million. She has never disclosed paying herself back.

It is unclear exactly what the Clintons have done with the rest of the money they have made. Layering years of disclosure documents on top of annual tax returns, Forbes estimates that the Clintons are worth a combined $45 million. They spent $95 million on taxes, their two houses cost a combined $5 million, and they gave $22 million to charity from 2001-14, according to historical tax returns and property records. But as Forbes outlined in a separate story last month, that leaves $50 million missing.

“That’s kind of strange,” said Joe Biden’s accountant, Walter Deyhle. “You have to report all of your assets. You have to report assets that are owned by your spouse.”

One thing that is clear: The Clintons no longer have to worry if they can afford that multimillion-dollar house in Washington, D.C., or really anything else.

Lot more goes on than meets the eye, thanks to shell companies.

no one is aware of that fact, and that the Panama Papers have leaked. It is hard to say if it will influence the Primary and election, but only a fool would ignore the possibility.

Which shows corrupt nature of the revolving door in Wall Street-on-the-Potomac and the national news media monopoly.

When they won't report or prosecute crimes, it tells me they're complicit.

I'd call it a conspiracy, but since no one goes to jail, I got to call it fascism.
