Clinton knocks Trump's lavish lifestyle

http://edition.cnn.com/2016/04/25/politics/hillary-clinton-donald-trump/index.html

Casting Trump as out of touch is new and opens up Clinton -- who regularly travels via private jet and has multiple homes -- to criticism for her own lifestyle. She and husband Bill Clinton own sizable homes in Chappaqua, New York, and Washington, as well as a Manhattan apartment. They also use an apartment in Little Rock that is owned by Bill Clinton's presidential library.
But she didn't shy away from her criticism on Monday, mocking Trump -- who has cast himself as a populist champion -- for his lavish lifestyle.
"Don't just fly that big jet in and land it and go give a big speech and insult everybody you can think of and then get on the big jet and go back to your country club house in Florida or your penthouse in New York," Clinton said. "I somehow don't think that puts you in touch with what is going on."
Clinton concluded by saying she has "spent more than a year talking and listening to people and I can tell you, there is a lot of concern, people are having a hard time."

Jesus. Christ.

Emphasis mine.

This is not a good can of worms for her campaign to open.

Cause his ideas are batshit crazy. Even the ones he's right about sort of (trans bathroom use) he only talks about his own personal belief which is clear to me he would allow it if someone else proposed it.

5. Hillary Clinton Demands A 'Presidential Suite' For Speaking Engagements

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Saturday evening that Clinton's expectations for speaking at a University of Nevada, Las Vegas Foundation fundraiser included "a presidential suite" for her and "up to three (3) adjoining or contiguous single rooms" for her staff.

The Democratic presidential front-runner's "standard travel expenses" also included a chartered airplane, which should be "Gulfstream 450 or larger jet," according to the paper's information request concerning her UNLV appearance this October.

Clinton's speaking agency further expected "all ground transportation" to be covered, as well as "all phone charges/cell phones and meals during their stay."

"And don't even get me started on renting a 50,000 dollar a week beach house girl, that is so way the fuck outta touch."

Good help is SO hard to find these days. Last time I vacationed in the Hamptons, I was even served a bowl of grapes in which TWO of them had been left unpeeled. TWO! I had to fire the whole housekeeping staff. Taught 'em a lesson, it did.

Didn't see this and posted the same story. Is she really so clueless or does she really think the public is so stupid as not to see the hypocrisy in this. This line of attack is fine...coming from her it's a sick joke.

Yes, the Clintons are also wealthy -- she is estimated to be "worth" $31 million, and her husband another $80 million. Trump is said to be in the multi-billions, if it matters.

And she's talking about somebody else being out of touch with ordinary Americans?

Are Hillary and Bill both suffering from dementia?
