Related: About this forumAll of you "duty shirkers"
need to fall in line, because apparently, that is the phrase of the day.
Don't "shirk your duty", vote for Hillary.
If you don't feel inspired by such an "uplifting" sentiment, well, it didn't work for me, either.

(30,481 posts)If you want to vote for someone else or not vote for anyone that is on you. We try to make the best decision possible. If Trump and Clinton are the only two legitimate contenders, what you feel is best direction of your vote in that situation is yours.

(154,021 posts)but there are two other choices, stay home... popular with 48 percent of the electorate in 2012... shit sandwich or bigger shit sandwich, does not sell, Or vote for a third party. For the record even more staid home in both 2010 and 2014... 2006 was a change in that, and was wasted by the D side of the house.
Your challenge is not to sell this false dichotomy between two shit sandwiches. That is really bad marketing. We have a few people here who do work in marketing and they might be able to explain why a shit sandwich is not gonna sell.

Don't shirk your duty, eat at Burger King
You know what it reminds me off? Though that one did work... "keep shopping." People stopped worrying about the war at that point, or at least for some time.

(34,845 posts)Take all that together and you come away with pretty clear evidence that over the course of the Democratic primary young voters have become more attached to progressive politics and the Democratic party. One read of this is that the primary process itself - as divisive as it has sometimes seemed - has deepened young voters' identification with the Democratic party.
