Lyft offering discounted rides to polls

The nonpartisan voting advocacy organization Black Girls Vote and rideshare company Lyft are providing discounted rides for voters headed to and from polls in Baltimore City Tuesday.

The rides are available to any city resident until polls close.

New Lyft users may use the code “BlackGirlsVote” for $10 off each way, and existing Lyft users may use “BGVote” for $5 off each way. Both discounts are limited to two rides.

Black Girls Vote members will be at Dunbar High School at 1400 Orleans St. and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor at 507 W. Preston St., where they will be assisting seniors, giving out food and providing information about the organization from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. — Colin Campbell
