(2,461 posts)Of course, if you discount all the non-registered club members you are winning! That's how clubs work. Unfortunately, it's not how the GE works. Bullying all the folks that wanted to have a trial membership is probably not a good idea if you want to float your boat.
And the band played on.

(2,461 posts)I, unlike it would seem your touchy self, was raised on political debate. It's what I had for dinner every night. Choose a side and do your best, if you believe in it or not. It was all a play - sometime more serious than others.
A deeply divided family which learnt to deal with it. And listen.
So tell me know, what is ridiculous in my post and let's play!

(1,252 posts)Many people are very angry that the exit polls don't match the vote. Many are very angry at the voter suppression and machine vote flipping. She may be winning but she is winning ugly and this cute little video, while amusing and well acted by gifted entertainers, only drives the disenfranchised further from her.
I remember Kerry getting swiftboated. It was ugly. Bush won ugly. And Ohio looks to have been flipped by machines.
I remember Gore and the ugliest win by Bush.
Hillary and co don't seem to care that they are winning so ugly. Just saying. I would suggest that Hillfans and Hillco ought to lose the arrogance if they expect any Berners to come over to her.

(718 posts)Let's take New York as an example:
1,391 responded to exit polls used by cnn in New York. Compare that with way over a million voters. It's called sampling error.
"exit polls are surveys of a small percentage of voters taken after they leave their voting place. pollsters use this data to project how all voters or segments of voters side on a particular race. in the data below, the number above the category shows how many people who voted fell into each one. all other figures show how each category voted for the listed candidates."
He isn't the candidate a majority of voters wanted. That's where it's at.

(1,252 posts)They are being investigated in several states. Surely you agree that we deserve fair elections in the United States of America. When you say, "Enough already" are you saying that the many many voters who were wrongly dropped from voting rolls shouldn't get a say in the election? That the states like AZ and RI that cut their polling stations to 1/3 of usual is okay and that working people who waited for hours to vote - that those people shouldn't enjoy the same basic rights as those who did get to vote? Equal protection under the law.
It is enough already in sweeping corruption under the rug and saying that these concerns aren't really really important.

(718 posts)Yes of course there are voting problems and irregularities. But that's not what you're trying to address or discuss so far as I can tell. Again, with your earlier exit poll comments you should google the phrase "sampling error."
The majority of voters didn't want Sanders. That's where it's at.
bye now.

(1,252 posts)The Hillfans and Hillbots and her official campaign suggests that the thousands and thousands that take time to go to see Bernie live stay home when it comes time to vote. Anyone with eyes to see can easily discern that Bernie is 1000% more popular than Hillary who plays to empty rooms. The whole thing is a charade. I may be wearing a tin foil hat but nevertheless...
Bye Now.

(718 posts)At least on the exit poll issue and Arizona. My guess is that you'll probably just going to go use them again too. But maybe that isn't true.
I wanted to add that, it is funny you should make these comment when practically the only states Sanders is able to win are those where the majority of voters are disenfranchised, (caucus states).
I read a nice article about crowd size versus voters earlier today in Clinton group, linking out to an article, you can find ideas and explanations about this stuff if you actually wanted to. It's not the first time that big rallies didn't lead to huge turnout either--Dean had big crowds, Romney had big crowds. Mega rallies aren't the only way to communicate to voters. They have different strategies and strengths.
However, the majority of voters didn't choose him. No matter how many people want to anoint him, voters said otherwise. Sorry, but that's just where it's at.
I didn't really want to have this conversation, I simply wanted to show why your reasoning was incorrect regarding exit polls.
anway, here is a cute kitty gif.

(1,252 posts)PS...Seems like the networks are using mostly exit polling now to call states for Hil. Wild, huh? Haven't they ever heard of sampling errors? They are calling Maryland with zero precincts reporting. Wow!
shadowandblossom
(718 posts)I provided you with a definition of exit polls above so you already have enough info to understand. Sorry it doesn't fit with your desires.
I'm going to go watch votes come in to see how well Clinton did today, all the polling was pretty great so I expect it to be a good day for Secretary Clinton. Adios.
