Bombshell Poll: Nearly 20% Of Republicans Will Vote For Hillary Clinton If Trump Wins

A new Suffolk University poll has found that 19% of Republicans say they will support Hillary Clinton if Donald Trump wins the Republican nomination.

http://www.politicususa.com/2016/04/25/bombshell-poll-20-republicans-vote-hillary-clinton-trump-wins.html

Even Rush Limbaugh confirms this.

http://www.teaparty.org/limbaugh-gop-will-vote-hillary-keep-power-159284/

Daily Caller) – Rush Limbaugh says that instead of voting for Donald Trump, “The Republican establishment is prepared to vote for Hillary Clinton if it means holding onto their fiefdoms.”

During “The Rush Limbaugh Show” on Monday, Limbaugh said, “The Republican Party is prepared, if Ted Cruz gets the nomination, to not care whether he wins or loses.”

Reiterating a question that he received from a caller, Limbaugh said, “If the guy gets close to 1,237 but still has the majority in delegates, and they take the nomination away from him, we’re gonna lose the voters, right? What’s gonna happen? Folks — Patience. Patience, Rush. The Republican establishment is prepared to vote for Hillary Clinton if it means holding onto their fiefdoms.”

But you must remember, it's always wrong when it's "Hillary" getting those votes, but it's perfectly fine if Bernie gets them. I am sure Bernie has had no problem taking all those republican contributions that have come his way. Just like it was to terrible that the super delegates could put Hillary in the WH against the will of Sanders voters, but now the whole plan to get into the WH for Bernie is "stealing" all the super delegates from Hillary that they can. Kind of amazing the way they think.

I remember exactly what you're saying when we had a number of Republicans backing Obama over McCain and others in that race back in '08 as well. Some wanted to be a part of history as opposed to the wrong side of it. Others had a range of other reasons.

And after months and months of Sanders supporters touting the crossover appeal of their candidate with independents of all leanings AND Republicans, your statement rings quite hollow.

Clearly, this is an admission the Republican Establishment and the Clintons are together. Explains a lot of things like Hillary's corporatist stance, support for wars, her alliance with the Bushes and Koch's expression of support for her. This is so messed up.

If OP's premise was correct, so is mine. OP used Rush Limbaugh's claim as evidence that Hillary will win and hence used it as a fact.

That said, yes, Hillary is a corporatist ally of the Bush family and she cares more about the Bush family and Goldman Sachs than hard working poor Americans. She is also a warmonger.

Just like there are plenty of Kim Davis style generational "Democrats" in the southern states especially who voted McCain and Romney with nary a moment's hesitation, there are generational "Republicans" especially in upper crusts who can follow a DJIA chart and consider evangelicals crass, and thus routinely vote Dem. Party affiliation for a lot of people is an inherited identifier not a personal stance. It's pretty routine for a fairly matching crossover vote around 8-10% to happen.
