(28,341 posts)She was first lady of Arkansas. Lotta hot sauce down there; and it can be hard to find in some areas of the country - or you ask for some and when they bring it from the back you find it's six years old. (that happened to me)

(23,156 posts)Or maybe I'm just a lot more flexible about what I eat, and don't require that I must have some one ingredient I crave to the point where I carry it around with me all the time.

(28,341 posts)I will say, I've never carried that kind of thing in a good purse. Of course, I'm on a slightly more constricted budget than the SoS.

(8,541 posts)My mom use to keep things like hand lotion in little ziplock bags.
The plastic packets of hot sauce rather than a bottle for fear of spillage. You can get them in bulk. I also bring them camping.
I have a friend who carries a little bottle of salad dressing but she only brings it when we go to certain restaurants.
