(369 posts)Just fall in line and vote for Hillary when she is the nominee. Or else you do not belong here.

(9,314 posts)A person who does not vote for the nominee can still be a member of DU. They just can't advocate for another party to compete against the nominee or try to take that nominee down. There are many longstanding members of DU who might not vote for Hillary but might still be down in the Lounge boozing it up, waiting for the next time.

(814 posts)It's interesting to see how this dialogue echoes that of what women were expected to do, tow the line of their men back in the day(esp. politicians who cheated on their wives, humiliating them) now we're expected to tow the line of a woman. As far as I'm concerned, either idea is terribly unsettling.

(814 posts)If you think I'll donate a DIME to any of the down-ballot Dems who tow Hillary's Corporatist bent. I wish them all the best running without me lifting a finger to help them in any way.
If they follow Bernie's platform, support him, I'll donate.
