(2,546 posts)from a man who knew war intimately... Hillary's lack of "experience" with the physical sequaela of war and respect for what the costs of military force, lack of foresight (Proven Evidence W/ Hillary)... should give pause toanyone with her as "Commander in Chief..."

(8,352 posts)what is disrespectful.
It is hawks like Clinton who push them because Iraq is a business opportunity, because Ghaffadi won't play our oil game, and because Syria is an ally of Russia.
So how dare you attack a Sanders supporters for being concerned with your fucking candidate leading us into another war.
Who in the hell to you think you are to castigate any adult voter? Who in the hell do you think you are to call Sanders a crook when your candidate is under active investigation by the fucking FBI?
Who in the hell are you?

Trying to compare a damned jet in Vermont to the Iraq invasion is the epitome of logical fallacies.
Do you get a thrill when you post this over and over? Do you think you are some how really sneaky smart and got a gotcha in on us all?

(786 posts)military action should be the 1st people that line up to enlist for the military. PERIOD. The people that want to call Bernie Sanders a crook need to look at their own candidate, Hillary Clinton who is being investigated by the FBI. It is really rich to point fingers and call names at someone else when your candidate is actually being investigated for what could be equated to national security violations.

She will pick and choose sensible wars to keep our vastly bloated war budget intact and thus keep our military industry very profitable.
This is why I am a sensible centrist for Clinton.

(6,342 posts)With the way Hillary wants to speed up bringing in Syrian refugees, one terror attack will flip this country back to the hard right.
Just look what's happened to Belgium and France. It's well known ISIS slipped into those countries by pretending to be refugees.

(82,383 posts)Voting for the IWR does not mean she is always for a war. Weak reasoning and over-generalization. Add repeating it a million times and you start to believe it. It's like religion. You created your own belief system.

(18,115 posts)Pro-cluster bombs. She wants a no-fly zone in Syria, an act of war and an escalation. She wants to regime change Assad. She was a chief proponent of regime change in Libya. And then there is the Iraq war.

The WikiLeaks release of emails with Blumenthal regards Libya did not put HRC in a good light aside from being insubordinate to POTUS Obama by involving Blumenthal.

(55,981 posts)troops for that matter. She said her "vote" was a mistake, her vote, not the war.
She said that the Iraqi's should be grateful we gave them "freedom".
She believes in the neocon idea of "spreading democracy" via wars. She can't wait to show Iran and Russia who the boss lady is.

Part of Bernies concern over the ballooning defense budget stems from what he sees as a lack of accountability on defense spending. In a statement explaining his no vote on the 2015 National Defense Authorization Act, which set the militarys budget at $560 billion, Bernie expressed concern that the military is unable to even account for how it spends all of its money. Bernie also voted against the 2012 and 2013 defense authorization bills, voicing alarm at the size of the defense budget despite the United States having withdrawn all military members from Iraq at the end of 2011.
