Has it been established as fact that some posters on DU....

... i guess especially in this forum... are being paid $$ by the campaign of one of the two remaining DEM candidates to post and advocate here?

Or is it just on certain other sites? ( Or not at all? Or are they BOTH doing it?)

Just trying to figure out what is known for certain... and generally agreed upon... at this time.

Thx.

But there are two recent changes. More Hillary supporters because of the end of time-outs. Fewer Sanders supporters because of JPR and general dispiritedness. The news about the Sanders layoffs which is probably not related.

Historically the democrats lead the way.

In 1932 the Democratic Party's platform included a plank for the repeal of Prohibition, and Democratic candidate Franklin D. Roosevelt ran for president of the United States promising repeal of federal Prohibition laws.

many of the paid trolls are getting their marching orders from the RW, not from either candidate.

Koch and friends want to kill any viable President who they really rear, so they recruit and pay operatives to serial post bash and trash about Hillary.

Nothing new here - seen it before and we'll likely see it again.

investigated and charged in the case of other candidates. The MO has happened before.

Even if someone posted the cancelled check drawn on Charles Koch's personal account, many here would refuse to believe it.

There is nothing wrong with me pointing out the OP has a logic error. It assumes that paid operatives have to come from one candidate or the other. That's not true!!

Logically, it's more likely that paid operatives are from the millionaires and billionaires who have openly spent hundreds of millions, and secretly spend much more. Why not drop a few millions in "contributions" for the primary opposition candidate? Why not pay trolls to present to support the outlier candidate and attack the one you really, really don't want to win.

It's a simple investment that pays off - and is easy to do.

The funniest thing was when he was complaining over at DI about being banned from DU and how sad it made him that he couldn't post any more when in reality he went back to posting using his 2nd profile within a week of being banned.

People are funny.

And the "extreme leftist" that we use to talk about where people who where like people living in a commune out in desert somewhere. It is so sad to see DLC now consider people like Sanders to be "extreme leftist" when in fact his ideas are more in line with what I would called a center left(Someone who wants capitalism but with it befitting the society not trying to ruin it). And Hillary I would voted for because she is pro-corporation and that was the type of Republican I wanted, someone who is more social left but Right wing in the economy. But that was back in my stupid years when thought that we should not tax the rich because any day now I was going to be one rich people.

Unless someone's flashing a paycheque, there's no definitive way to prove someone's being paid to post.

Therefore, the accusations are just so much mental masturbation.

Zombies and sockpuppets abound, though. And anyone who's served on MIRT knows that it's pretty easy to identify them. Leopards don't change their spots.

... that's simply impossible.

So its got to be something else.

It was "Hillary is only winning southern states."

Then it was "Well, she's only winning with blacks and women."

Then it was "She's only winning the elite."

Then it was "Hillary suppressed the vote."

Now ... "There are paid trolls ruining America to help Hillary win!!!"

Give it a week, and they'll have a new rationale as to why Bernie isn't winning.

going back and forth relying to each other back and forth for a long time.
And one is trying to explain to the other, but the other one isn't really answering but just throwing something back. The first person responds to that and the 2nd just throws something else back without answering on the issue.

When that idea of getting paid came up a few days ago, that's what I thought about. They probably get paid by the comment, so to get maximum money, you just keep antagonizing to get responses and keep that narrative up. Ka-ching!

Just a thought.
