"Asked at a town hall meeting at New Hampshire's Henniker College how to handle the increasing role of moneyed interests in Washington, Hillary Clinton told supporters that lobbyists should be exposed and publicly called out.

"Maybe use social media? Maybe make a concerted effort to really call these people out all the time, get some social pressure on them, get people to know their names," Clinton suggested,"

"It's not just the influence they peddle, it's the way they peddle the influence," Clinton said. "No matter who you are lobbying for, you've got to keep the people you are representing upset and angry and worried that something is going to be done to them, to try and keep them paying you."

Claiming that it was so beneficial to down ticket Dems. Of course, we found out that it was a schme to funnel most of it back to Hillary.

Otherwise, it appears that you are complaisant about the corruption of Washington, D.C.

Hillary's solution: Say nasty things about them on Facebook! That should work!

... agenda could get past anything without congress cause he's not going to go in as president and trample the constitution.

It was a tell that he wasn't really serious about getting anything done.

Now, he's just supporting 3 out of hundreds of down ballot dems cause people looked at him sideways.

Either way, without congress he'll be putting up with lobbyist on both sides of the isle either directly or by proxy and that would go against the "no lobbyist" montra

I would really be excited if Hillary could come out with some bold new plan to neuter lobbyists instead of using them better than the Republicans do.

Thanks for taking time to explain.

We're donating directly to bypass the DNC.

Bernie’s doing more than Hillary whose collaboration with the DNC has made a mockery of supporting true down ticket candidates. The $$ goes to her w a pittance going downwards.

Getting support from a large variety of lobbyists dilutes the potential power of any one group. So in general, the more sources of funding, the better.
