Again, if Hillary Clinton is the nominee, I will definitely be voting for her, but........

....... it's this smug condescension and sense of entitlement that I find so strident, such a turnoff:

And that's why I think it's so important for progressives not to get discouraged, and work like crazy to keep the energy and the movement going beyond the election.
This really is our moment. A senator with little name recognition beyond progressive circles, one who proudly identifies himself as a Democratic Socialist, has been able to make this much of an impact on an election. Lots of people, especially the millennials who are now the largest demographic group, are realizing that the only thing that centrist incrementalism does is serve as a small speedbump on the disastrous track we're on. The economic and environmental crises require something much more radical.
So working on progressive issues and getting actual progressives elected on the local and state levels is so important. Build the infrastructure, and oust the centrism (or potentially even worse) in 2020.
I'd been a little discouraged by the primaries of late, but drew a great deal of inspiration from watching this earlier:

Unless they are DINOs. Florida is infested with DINOs. Not enabling DWS any more.

7. It would certainly be easier if that behavior were limited to merely one candidate's supporters.

"smug condescension and sense of entitlement..."

It would certainly be easier if that behavior were limited to merely one candidate's supporters. I'd also hazard that "smugness" is accurately illustrated when someone implicitly denies that same weaknesses in their own demographic.

Walt Kelly's Pogo recognized his own failure's as well as a collective failure... a cartoon mature enough in spirit to accept what many actual human beings will not.

Through the roof...people are easily swayed, and in this case by incessant garbage thrown at her by the right wing smear machine, enabled by many on the left...favorables can change quickly.

then you are encouraging future candidates to also engage in bad behavior because they know you'll vote for them, too, despite THEIR bad behavior.
