That's what the GOP does. They can't legislate so they investigate. Hillary and Colin Powell have said that the State Dept. email system for Classified Info is antiquated and has been in need for an update for a long time. That doesn't mean that people don't have a need to communicate information. That means they have to find a way around the inefficiencies presumably within the policies. People who have worked with the equipment within the system know what she's talking about. Hopefully something good will come of this like updating the equipment.

Also the policy did change after she was already the Sec of State about all State Dept email going through the .gov server to that documents can be preserved. Government servers do go down from time to time, and in the past I have had to use my private email account to relay information to supervisors or subordinates, or to send email to myself when working from home, so I would have a record of it when the system came back up, because our server was down.

who read her correspondence with Sidney Blumenthal. She committed perjury while under oath in a hearing saying she turned in all her emails (but at least 15 were deleted in her "personal stuff" that other people did turn in). She signed documentation that she had returned all government stuff with government records in her basement. She instructed a staff member in the steps necessary to copy and paste classified data without keeping the "confidential" headers.

Obviously, they are investigating her dog walker. Or maybe her pizza delivery guy.

State Department officials have determined that classified information was sent to the personal email accounts of former Secretary of State Colin Powell and the senior staff of former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, NBC News has learned.

Furthermore:

In a letter to Undersecretary of State Patrick Kennedy dated Feb. 3, State Department Inspector General Steve Linick said that the State Department has determined that 12 emails examined from State's archives contained national security information now classified "Secret" or "Confidential." The letter was obtained by NBC News.

Personal email can be accessed anywhere. If Powell and/or Rice accessed their email anywhere but at a secure computer, would any secret mail not be on that computer account and able to be accessed?

I've got proof that they are not. I personally have received emails from friends' hacked accounts asking for money because they were (bogus) stranded overseas. There has NEVER been any indication that her server, manned security experts, has ever been hacked.

I can't belive you are promoting the idea that servers operated by an unknown entity, and employing 1000s of peopl e who have access and no security clearance, is safer than her server.

shows me that you are either OK with corporate ownership of the Democratic Party or you're so enamored of Hillary that she can simply do no wrong.

The GOP has nothing to do with it, I'm not going to just silently watch the potential party standard bearer operate government as a personal ATM machine. Greed isn't a progressive ideal. We're supposedly a progressive party. The fact that you HRC peeps don't see the disconnect makes me wonder why.

And if you think the attacks from the Left are nasty, wait until Tru p and his legions of mouth-breathers start in on her. I'm at least dealing in facts, they have no inclination. I had a post hidden just for showing an actual picture of Hillary in an orange pantsuit... A picture readily available online. If that hurts the tender feewings of the HRC fanboys/fangirls, I imagine they'll swallow their own fucking tongues when Trump unleashes his white trash army...

Good luck with that. You people are soft... Better toughen the fuck up, chop-chop...

It's just so damn stupid in the first place, I don't for a moment think someone as experienced in DC as Hillary didn't anticipate that the arrangement would become public knowledge. Poisoning the well? Red herring? Pure razzle dazzle? Who the hell knows, it's turtles all the way down with this one.

And she came close to getting away with it, too. She avoided all FOIA requests her entire tenure plus two years, and the only reason the FBI has her "deleted" emails is because they were backed up on the cloud/the company "forgot" to bill her (because they thought she was setting them up).

It was very, very close.
