Rather than gloating and tromping around as if their horribly outdated and out of touch campaign tactics have been vindicated, Hill Folk should do a bit of self-examination as to why their "inevitable" candidate had such a tough time against a previously unknonwn "democratic socialist" from VT?

In a political climate that is drastically different than the one that saw Gore dominate Bradley in 2000.

So, it's not entirely surprising that Sanders has won some contests and may top 1800 pledged delegates when all is said and done. But Sanders simply couldn't win the support of enough POC or women.

The result was entirely predictable, especially after Biden announced he wasn't going to run.

And if the political climate is drastically different, maybe it's time to adapt to that.

had a rough series of opening turns, lucked out mid-game with some strong card play and astute worker placement, but never stood a chance because he didn't make note of the victory conditions and didn't understand the area control rules.

Know the endgame before you move the first piece and RTFM.

1- Organize voter registration/party identification necessary in each state to make sure independent supporters who wanted to vote could. That would have taken earlier and broader mobilization, but he could have done with less focus on NH.

2- He should have at least made a play for the southern states. He gave up too many delegates there and got stuck in a southern state negative feedback loop.

It's just been a slow death spiral ever since, and a fair n square one at that; he lost a major Democratic voting bloc, and never recovered.

I would vote for that. The Primary was definitely "rigged" but I am not 100% sure there was outright cheating more than the usual cheating in politics.

He successfully managed to gather milions of people around his social platform. At the beginning, only a few believed he could go and hold on till now
Howewer it was clear to me from that from the early campaign stage, far before HRCs April 2015 official announcement, that she already has all the powerstructures with her, so yes virtually the game was rigged.
Sad to witness a nomination mainly based on name recognition rather than on issues.
Nontheless she is still better than Nazi Trump and Cruz.
