Thank you for having the courage and good judgement required to not support the Iraq War.
Thank you for the integrity you`re known for here in Vermont, where 71% of the voters supported you in your last election.
Thank you for your solid support of unions and workers.
Thank you for having the courage to discuss the plight of Palestinians. Not many politicians have that courage.
Thank you for being there during the Civil Rights movement.
Thank you for being against the death penalty.
Thank you for your support of the LGBT community.
Thank you for speaking out for stronger/fairer voting rights laws.
Thank you for your courageous stand in favor of single payer health care.
Thank you for your deep reverence for Mother Earth.
Thank you for standing up for Native Americans, something political leaders rarely speak about.
Thank you for demanding changes to our criminal justice system.
Thank you for not forgetting where you came from and for allowing those humble beginnings to teach you about empathy.
Thank you for teaching our young people the value of grassroots activism.
Thank you for being a true Progressive leader in the admirable Paul Wellstone style. In almost five decades of voting, I`ve never been prouder of a candidate.
