Bernie and his small donors shattered an accepted "truth".

No, you don't need to rely on big money donors, bundling and superpacs to fund a national campaign. Exploding that myth is a huge contribution to our body politic. And the fact that Bernie did it is going to ripple into the future. It has had an impact and that impact will grow.

I'm one Bernie supporter who is far from disappointed. He did so much better than I imagined. He ran a great campaign. Issues that he brought to the forefront will continue to resonate.

I don't think much of the aggregate wisdom of American voters, but I can't believe that collectively we'd elect the orange fascist buffoon over Hillary. I don't want to think about what it says about this country if we do. I've been dipping into the Rise and Fall, and one of the things Shirer did so well was describe the German people in the mid thirties. Yes, I am comparing Trump to Hitler. Not the Hitler in the bunker, but Hitler of the 1930s.

Trump's bold buffoonery is as dangerous as the most Machiavellian tactics, if not nearly as focused.

I'm not telling anyone that they should vote for Hillary. I believe that it's perfectly legitimate to choose how you'll use your vote. And let's be real; If you live in a deep blue or deep red state, it really doesn't matter if you vote for her, but Trump is inconceivable. He horrifies me more each day. Or rather the symbiosis of trump and his supporters horrifies and disgusts me more each day.

I don't think Hillary will be good for the country or the world, but Trump?

That's just sheer insanity.

a major candidate can't win without big-donor money. That lesson alone is a fantastic contribution to America.
