Hillary needs to offer Bernie the VP.

Van Jones said something important on CNN. In 2008 the insurgent outsider candidate "Obama" won that contest so the establishment "Hillary" supporters had to come alone. Now its the establishment candidate that is going to win, but its going to be harder for the supporters of the insurgent candidate to come over because they aren't necessary loyal to the party like the establishment.

Do the smart thing Hillary for the good of the Country.

ticket.

You need balance, with someone on the south side of sixty (in this case, the VP--in Barack's case, the POTUS).

He'll be lucky if he gets a prime-time speaking slot at the Convention, given some of his comments during this campaign--and the remarks of his surrogates.

If he settles down and helps rally his base after he concedes, and helps with the downticket. he might get Secretary of Labor if he wants it.

Otherwise, he can go back to VT and get ready for what might be a contested election in 2018.

Hey, he's the guy who likes incumbents to be primaried--maybe he should "feel the Bern?"

I thought my comments were clear. I can't understand why you don't comprehend them. I didn't use any fancy language or oblique terms.

I can only conclude that you're being prickly--not sure why. There's no need. It won't change anything and it won't get me riled.

I'm afraid. No two candidates in a primary has been further apart than these two. If it wasn't for shenanigans and outright bullshit she'd not be where she is in this race right now. And if you can't see that I don't know what to tell you.

I think it's stupid because all this does is assure Frankenstein Sanders lives to die another day. He's not a good GE candidate AND he's ancient. All this does is prolong his delusions.

He's a nutjob and subject to brutal attacks. Clinton does not need such an anchor on the ticket. She should consider Warren, Biden, O'Malley, Gore, or any number of others. Sanders should remain in the Senate where he is harmless.

A) Assuming HRC wins the nomination, that would only further weaken us in the Senate.
B) It's not strategic enough, electoral college-wise.
C) He would NEVER agree to be on that ticket.
D) ... I don't know, I can't remember... ("Oops." - Rick Perry-style). I seriously had a D... and I'd promised no more drunk posting.
E) OOH! ... Aww, shit... I thought I had it again...
F) OH, right, I got it. Bernie is too smart. He'd see it as a ploy to prevent a contested/brokered convention, and essentially, as a way to dilute his message.
G) Off topic: I fucking LOVE that Cruz picked a VICE PRESIDENT and less than a week later, he's dropping out. Carly ran that shit into the ground faster than HP. ::rimshot::

if he accepted a position with Clinton. Others have said they'd throw Sanders under the bus if he merely asked his supporters to vote for Clinton.

If that's the case Bernie ads no value to the ticket.
