The open ocean left by the Republican Party when they went Batshit Loony Off-the-charts RightWingNut is now filled by....these moderate Republicans. They now call themselves "Democrats".
But they're not. Just because they took over that now-empty political space and slapped a 'D' on the door doesn't mean they're Democrats.
The only DEMOCRAT I've seen in this race - is Bernie Sanders.
SHE can call herself a Democrat.
HE can call himself a Democratic Socialist.
But in my (WELL over) 50-something years of watching US politics and elections and knowing what my parents knew and saw of the Great Depression, FDR and what used to be Democrats and what used to be Republicans -- SHE is a moderate Republican and HE is a Democrat.
