Hillary indictments, Clinton Cash, Rasmussen Polls, FOX News.

Hot Air. NewsMax. WashTimes. Fake transcript memes. Email conspiracies. Judicial Watch. Monica Lewinsky. Unsourced rightwing memes.

What progressives are using as sources and topics on DU?

The site admin are letting everyone vent their spleens here in hopes we (average mundane readers/posters) will realize the lunacy being espoused, while some work through their emotions.

Think about it, nothing goes unchallenged, and any person who knows politics knows a hit piece already when they see it. Which leads to my point, these RW talking points that're being tossed about are teaching those of us who don't participate the GDP fray what to say to counter them in the general election cycle.

After reading here on DU, there's nothing any Republican in the wild can toss at me I can't counter. Hell, they'll mostly be amateurs by comparison. I'm gonna be ready to caucus hostile red districts after this primary season.

The media just hasn't unpacked it yet, but here's a taste, from a progressive blog in California:

The reason why Sanders runs better than Clinton against Republican contenders is simple: while Republicans have run virtually no negatives against Sanders (because they want him to be the nominee), Clinton has been accused of everything – literally — from murder to treason over a span of 30 years. Yet she’s still standing.

Calbuzz spelled this out back in January and even some of the laggard MSM have begun to understand the facts. David Corn of Mother Jones argued that the big problem for Bernie would be that he’s a socialist and Republicans would attack him on those grounds.

That’s way too naïve. Sanders would be bludgeoned hammer and sickle as a dead-beat dad with an illegitimate son — as an atheist, commie, pinko out to raise your taxes, crush your religious freedom and your right to bear arms, weaken the military and appease the Russians, set criminals free to rape your daughter, take away your home, round you up and ship you off to live on a vegan commune with leather-clad lesbians and gays in charge.

For starters.

Jerry Roberts is a California journalist who writes, blogs and hosts a TV talk show about politics, policy and media. Former political editor, editorial page editor and managing editor of the San Francisco Chronicle, he serves as student adviser for the Daily Nexus newspaper at UC Santa Barbara. He is the author of “Never Let Them See You Cry,” a biography of Senator Dianne Feinstein.

Phil Trounstine is the former political editor of the San Jose Mercury News, former communications director for California Gov. Gray Davis and was the founder and director of the Survey and Policy Research Institute at San Jose State University where he created the Silicon Valley and California Consumer Confidence Indices. He is co-author of “Movers and Shakers: The Study of Community Power.”

It has nothing to do with nobility. It has to do with basic rights that American citizens should have that they do not have. It has to do with a corrupt system, and nobody can deny the government is corrupt, screwing the middle class left and right.

When a candidate makes those issues front and center, people like me will not settle. We will not play nice. By any means necessary, these issues must be addressed.

Sorry if that bothers people. I suppose Susan B Anthony, Thomas Jefferson, et. al should have been more polite and have toned it down
