(8,311 posts)You seem rather condescending posting such a thing. Especially with no context.

(45,319 posts)30,000 Americans died from it. She's saying Reagan was the first activist rather than what he really was, the Wall of Silence, the man who did nothing, said nothing and ignored the largest public health crisis of our era. What she is saying is outlandish, not connected to reality.
It is also a fact that Hillary used to know that Reagan was the villain of that time, at the convention in 1992 when Bill was nominated, many speeches detailed Reagan/Bush apathy toward people with AIDS, Elizabeth Glaser said "my child did not survive the Reagan administration" and Hillary heard that. Other speakers laid out endless damning facts. Hillary is on film listening to all of it. She's been in many meetings where she heard the facts first hand. So her recent statements are just frightening to me.
It's like saying George W Bush was the hero of Katrina, only worse because Reagan was negligent for seven full years of total inaction and the death toll was massive, much higher than Katrina and that death toll continues to this day. It is not a laughing matter, it is not a matter that should be exploited or revised for cheap partisan politics.
Changed my view of not just her but of those who support her and of the Party that did not object openly to her bullshit.

I'm a Hillary supporter, and I think your OP is ugly and unnecessary.
