Stop worrying about the rust belt

Last edited Fri May 6, 2016, 03:54 AM - Edit history (1)

I see everyone is going crazy about the rust belt and working class whites.

I offer this map for submission to prove the Dem nominee can win with just minority-heavy states.

On Edit: My post has nothing to do with who wins the Dem nomination. Just trying to show the power that minorities might wield in the upcoming election and that we don't have to panic over losing white working class voters. I hope in some way my map is correct so that MAYBE minorities might start to get their concerns taken seriously.

with if HRC or Sanders wins the nomination. I could say that Sanders will not get the votes Obama did...well short in fact considering his weakness with AA voters.

In fact, that post was correct. As I pointed out to you, Obama barely eked out a win in Florida in 2012, with strong support from Youth and minorities, and a 50/50 split in Independants. Hillary will do very poorly with youth and independants, and she probably won't get the turnout among AAs that Obama did.
Sanders fares better than Hillary. He does as well or better with youth as Obama, far exceeds him with Independants. He won't get AA votes like Obama, but if they turn out in Kerry-type numbers that might be enough.

but 26% of Florida's population right now is Hispanic. I highly doubt she or Bernie would lose Florida.

Over 100k more.

I think you really need to to look at what states had higher R turnout to gage threats.

I hope in some way my map is correct, so that minority voices and concerns are finally heard by both parties.

16. Let's be frank. You care about black voices as much as Hillary cared about them in 2008.

What you really care about is 'free' trade and expanding corporate power and influence over the rest of us.

I have a bunch of Hispanic friends and customers who have been shit on by Republican politicians, nothing would give me greater joy then seeing Trump get 65% of the white vote yet still lose.

Just like it can't win a Democratic primary season
