Omitting important data when your readers count on you for information because reality doesn't work for your narrative is a form of propaganda. If lies and falsehoods are required to create an aura of invincibility or inevitability, a newspaper might as well be Pravda.

Like attracts like, in my experience. Liars live in fear, and justify their actions. People who value honor and integrity inspire it.

Which is why I obviously don't support either Hillary or Trump.

But I'm sure you have your reasons for supporting the candidate of your choice, too.

Heard in the HRC group: Susan Collins is being vetted for VP. Pass it on. - posted in the Bernie group
http://www.democraticunderground.com/1280191905

yet another lie and innuendo. Using disreputable sources (fox, etc) to press a meme. All that gives me pause as to the candidate himself.

However, my position is to support the Democratic nominee in November. Each election is important and this one is more so than others.

"I am not a member of any organized political party. I'm a Democrat." Hillary is a lawyer who plays word salad games that look like lies, and I wouldn't trust her to do the right thing if it was free. I am not convinced I can vote for her; I know if she gets the nod at the convention, I will change to independent.

I will remain a democrat. But do be sure and learn the rules of the party so that you and your candidate won't be so angry when he/she takes advantage of the party structure and doesn't understand or decide to learn the various rules of the county, state and national party.

BTW, revolutions take a long time unless they become bloody and then there is really more chaos than revolution as we have seen throughout the evolution of 1968 Prague Spring, the Velvet Revolution and recently the Arab Spring. Of course, with Trump we may see that bloody revolution since most of his supporters are armed to the teeth and have little or no regard for the rule of law.

Here's an article to illustrate my point.

May we all be well.

and the name was brought up, she was not being vetted as stated in the OP. Whatever nasty story Bernie supporters can find, are posted again and again on this site and it gets tiresome. Fox is used, a story today was from US Uncut with its discredited editor as a reliable source. Find some uplifting stories about your candidate without spending so much time trying to tear the other candidate down is my wish.

that the blame for poor Bernie's yuge win didn't get noted. And she must have been very powerful indeed because 98 senators voted for the IWR.

Of course, she is the faulted because she had the audacity to run for president even though she is just a woman. Kerry, who voted for the IWR was never even scrutinized for that and he received much democratic sympathy because he was "swift boated" by the republicons. All her shortcomings are amplified and magnified and the most unsavory sources are used as truth tellers and are repeated multiple times daily.

I'm sure you will have some comeback to let me know how wrong I am and how terrible she is and how great Bernie is and how only he can save us.

Has nothing to do with the story but that's the greyest, most depressing town I've ever been in. No idea how people can stand to live there.
