(8,168 posts)I've read here hundreds of times that nobody votes for Hillary, they only vote against somebody else.
Please delete these lies!

(11,573 posts)What matters is 3 million more votes and approximately 700 more delegates.

(1,884 posts)There is a disconnect between the "crowds" Hillary draws and the votes she supposedly is getting. Something is not computing.
okasha
(11,573 posts)is that Hillary is not spending a million or more a pop for stadium venues--i. e., she's managing her campaign budget far better than Bernie is doing. Given the FEC's inquiries, it appears that his campaign bookkeepping is a shambles. He's outspent Hillary significantly, and now the cash flow is drying up.
And last estimate I saw of his family outing to the Vatican, he owes his campaign around 1.5 million that he'll have to repay. I wonder how he's going to do that.

(6,578 posts)For Bernie, but only 17K bothered to show up to a caucus state-wide?

(13,877 posts)the scales will tip. Many of those votes were before people even knew who he was. So, time will tell. The West Coast is more liberal, at least in the cities, and he'll do well in the Blue States, I think.

What Bernie's getting is his ass handed to him. Deal.

(13,877 posts)The campaign has been going for a year. You can not be serious that Clinton and Trump haven't gotten obscene amounts of press and Bernie was blacked out. That even made the news and it's well known. What drivel.

(3,184 posts)Romney had bigger crowds at his rallies so he was surely going to win the election.
Bernie obviously has a smaller but more enthusiastic group of supporters.

(45,527 posts)It's good to be here, among my ilk. I was getting tired of being bombarded by Sanders and Trump fanatics every which way, just because of my support of Clinton -- on YouTube, online forums, even Hillary's FB page wasn't a safe haven from them. Then, I learned of this site from another forum, so I began lurking in the past two weeks. I almost didn't stay, because the General Discussion board was no different, but then by chance I stumbled upon Hillary's separate forum. This is what I've been searching for! Early on, I listened to what Sanders and even Republicans had to say (even though I never vote GOP, but I still like to know their platform), but at this point, with the primaries nearly over and Hillary the presumptive nominee, I don't have the constitution to deal with anymore abuse and nastiness. I just want to be around likeminded people for the general.
FSogol
(45,527 posts)end, General Discussion Primaries will change to General Discussion Politics and a lot of the attacks and nastiness will disappear. The admins also plan on rolling out some new rules, so we should get back to normal.

(24,979 posts)Let's see how big Sanders' rallies will be in the same city. Will you post those for comparison, and estimate the relative sizes?
bigtree
(86,005 posts)..vs. the crowd outside harassing the folks attending the rally.
Of course, although Sanders has generated larger crowds at his rallies, those numbers, in several key states, did not add up to support at the voting booth. That's where a political movement is actually of significance to measure.
So, no, I won't be doing crowd comparisons.
JackRiddler
(24,979 posts)angered by the Secretary's murderous actions in Latin America, including the backing of the coup d'etat in Honduras and the resulting deaths of hundreds, including the assassination of Berta Caceres. Clinton has blood on her hands and they are righteously angered. You are participating in the false construction of a narrative where "Bernie supporters" "harrass" the people going in to see Clinton, and it is a big lie.
And you CANNOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS. You want to show enthusiastic attendance for Clinton, then I can contrast it to the 10x the enthusiasm crowd that Sanders attracts. These are the motivated people, the movements by comparison. You can't claim one thing is good (enthusiastic crowds) and then change the standard of measurement as soon as I point out Sanders' are 10x bigger.
bigtree
(86,005 posts)...I can't hear you over the overwhelming number of these voters who are supporting Hillary Clinton.

(24,979 posts)I'm not talking to you either, just making sure your lie does not stand alone. The few readers down here can judge for themselves.
And ka-ching, ka-ching, I can hear the big money ringing up for Clinton well enough, so what? Naturally you're running away from things to which you cannot respond.
