2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumPost-Primary Possibility: Bernie should make a play to take over DNC
As is the case, the President picks the head of the DNC. We know that if Hillary wins, she'll likely move DWS up - regardless of what happens with her own-relection in FL.
Would putting Bernie in charge of the DNC and working the full on national election landscape work? It's been kicking in the back of my head since it would have him still firmly in the Senate but also taking a truly influential position that could do a hell of a lot of good.

helped the party. But I don't see Bernie in that role.

Sanders has zero chance of being the head of the DNC. Sanders has not supported the party and has refused to raise money for down ballot candidates. The head of the DNC must actually care about the party and down ballot candidates.

to try to put a populist face on what has become a majority corporatist party.
