Joe Scar is "frustrated" - Mark Halperin "the meta-narrative is shifting away from Romney"

Today's Morning Joe has the feel of those shows after the Democratic National Convention. Things are looking up!

John Heilemann is on, and I like him - clearly liberal. (I often wonder, did he write the Democratic side of "Game Change" and Halperin the Republican side?)

That was my guess about "Game Change" too. polichick Oct 2012 #1

It's pretty funny to watch. With the car companies calling mitt a liar, that's going to be a tough sell.

He took an entire minute to explain that the Romney radio ad was accurate but misleading. Willie and Heileman had to jump in and just shit on him.

..devoid of context, Romney's China claim for Jeep is technically true, but everyone knows that's not all that counts. This is like if me, a lawyer, wrote an ad that's "legal", but hey - don't ask me for anything more than "you won't get sued".

he leaves that tool Halperin in the dust. No contest. Sharper, clearer, more objective.

They really sound ominous on Romney. SQUEEEEEEE!

What Joe said he's frustrated about is the Romney people telling him to ignore all polls except their own.

Brokaw is just a dinosaur really trying to ignore the facts on the ground. It's painful to watch at times. It's like he's pointing at the sky and ignoring the comet coming his way.

This isn't 1980.
