2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumSarah Palin creates her own movie trailer for HBO's "Game Change"
Game Change is a movie which documents Sarah Palin and the 2008 Presidential Campaign. It airs this Saturday on HBO. It is very well sourced and is considered an accurate portrayal of what took place behind the scenes during the 2008 Presidential election.
The trailer is here.

Sarah Palin is very upset at her depiction in the movie. (Despite the fact that it is factually based). Now her Super-Pac has taken a portion of the Game Change trailer and edited her own advertisement. (Although its kind of weird because there is no Super-Pac Sarah Palin movie to back up the trailer.)
It can be found here.

(Notice Joe Biden trying his hardest not to laugh at her!)
I can't wait to see this movie!

(24,721 posts)how disillusioned she is & as a publicity tool to reel in those who are Fixed News-challenged to watch the real thing.
Sure there was excitement for her kind of people in the beginning of her national exposure, but the movie will show how McCain's campaign circle, who saw the real deal behind the scenes, were very troubled at what they witnessed.
I'm anxious to see it, as well as my husband -- & even though he doesn't follow politics as closely as I do, he cannot stand to see her on tv. He could always see through her & the fact that the media gave her so much exposure scared the sh*t out of him.

(34,857 posts)She forgot the most important point: SHE AND MCCAIN LOST IN A LANDSLIDE.
She became a drag on the ticket. Poll after poll showed her bringing McCain down further in the polls than before he picked her.
Sure, the initial frenzy over her pick was big - but the second she opened her vapid mouth, Americans were like, "what the fuck?"
Oh Sarah. You failed. You failed big-time. You were the worst VP pick in modern American history and that's saying something when you consider you're joined by the likes of Dan Potatoe Quayle and Joe Sleazeball Lieberman.
