GOTV in Louisiana (LA) 10/31/12, Dems lead Reps 3 to 2 in EV

Democratic lead
> 56,200 votes

Statewide early/mail numbers:
Democrats -- 173,733 or 51.0 percent (Dems to Reps only 59.6%)
Republican -- 117,525, or 34.5 percent (Dems to Reps only 40.4%)
Others -- 49,395, or 14.5 percent

Registered Dems make up about 49% of the electorate in Louisiana, and a heavy number of them are Blue-Dog/Dixiecrat types, hence why Obama lost Louisiana by 20 points in '08, and my guess is it'll probably get worse this year.
