[Wisconsin] extending early voting due to high turnout

MILWAUKEE, WI (WITI/FOX) – As the Friday deadline for early voting in the state approaches, polling places are extending their hours to keep up with extraordinary turnout.

Milwaukee decided to extend early voting hours leading up to Friday's deadline because the state Legislature reduced the window for absentee voting.

Nearly 4,000 people a day are turning up to cast their absentee ballots.

Higher turnout generally favors Democrats. GOTV everyone. Every county. Every State.
