The rules of the convention were adopted by the majority of the Clinton delegates, any agenda change required 2/3rds of the vote. The Sanders supporters who gave a motion to recount the delegates did not have the votes and were rightly and correctly called down when the chair said it didn't pass.
Now can we get rid of fucking convoluted caucuses already?

(3,473 posts)1. Caucuses are undemocratic, always have been, always will be
Someone earlier tonight tried to say that Secretary Clinton and the DNC created the caucuses ... so by inference that it's all their fault!!
It's unreal how delusional the BS cheerleaders have become. It's comical how the BS cheerleaders love caucuses, until something doesn't go their way, then they complain about Secretary Clinton and how unfair she is being.

(3,649 posts)2. Two things.
1. It's unclear whether Hillary supporters were in the majority.
2. The motion to recount was ignored by the chairwoman and no vote took place.
