Santorum looks to have life again and Newt's "surge" in TN and OK more or less failed to materialize.

even if Newt drops out Romney has like a 90% chance to be the Nominee but it does open up a small small opening for Santorum.

He's going on to more deep south states, but I suspect sanctorum will remain #2. jmho.

And the next two biggies are Alabama and Mississippi which look to be friendly to Gingrich. One could argue Noot has a chance to rise again.

4. If Gingrich had any sense at all he would.

Unfortunately for Santorum he does not, a shame too as Santorum would have almost certainly won Ohio handily had he not been, and his margins in TN and OK would have been bigger.

13. Really, Newt should quit if he really wants to stop Romney

they are splitting the real nut vote. Santorum has won 7 states overall compared to 2 (one his own) for Newt.

He was on with Bill Bennet this morning and he said point blank said hes not dropping out even if he does poorly in AL and MS. He referred back to when Santorum was doing poorly and he was up and Santorum ignored calls to resign. Noot loves the limelight and the platform to spew his nonsense and vitriol. It will help him sell more books when this is over.

17. In a three-way tie, none of them can get enough delegates before it ends in Utah.

They were talking about this on MSNBC last night for almost an hour.
I don't know why they put Rachel in the middle of all of those guys, but it was great to see her talk about all of it.

Al Sharton pointed out the real problem the GOP has now.
As he said, if Little Ricky can get these many delegates with no viable political structure, no real campaign at all, then what would happen to Romney if he actually puts one together in the next 2 weeks.
And Santorum will probably win 5 states in next week's primary, making him much stronger than Gingrich by the end of next week.

Romney will probably go through the rest of March not winning any states and sweating blood before April gets here.
Just as Santorum went through a drought month in February, it's now Romney's turn to go without getting many delegates.

And Lawrence also pointed out the fact that if Gingrich would have dropped out of the race last month, after losing in Florida, Santorum would have won in Ohio yesterday AND in Georgia.
So, Santorum has to convince Gingrich, or at least his supporters, that a vote for Gingrich is a vote for Romney.
Especially since neither one of those so-called "conservatives", as vetted by the tea party coalition, can garner enough delegates on their own to topple Romney.
