March 2008: Obama 44%, McCain 42%
April 2012: Obama 49%, Romney 43%

(2,353 posts)Clinton has only herself to blame for her low energy Jeb Bush style campaign... Even when she tries to fake the enthusiasm and energy that Sanders exudes she looks phony. Then again everything she does has the appearance of being calculated and phony

She and many of her supporters have done everything possible to belittle the Bernie supporters, as if they won't matter come the general election. Big mistake. Big, big mistake.

(25,026 posts)Clinton supporters that said they wouldn't vote Sanders and I believe that number would be higher if there was a "safe" establishment alternative like JEB.
Conservatives dip out all the time since Reagan but also want to utilize party loyalty to prop up their people from the secular wing of the conservative party.
