Nader ran against Gore in the general election. Bernie has said many times that he will not run as a third party candidate in the general election.

Ralph Nader ran as a third party candidate.

Bernie Sanders is running as a Democrat in the primary.

By the way, America and the Democratic Party would be a lot better off if they had bothered to pay attention to the refomist message Nader was proposing back then.

We DO have two corporate owned parties, and the SYSTEMIC Corruption within them has only gotten worse. Hence around 40 percent of Democratic primary voters are saying NO to more of the same old shit.

of the American political landscape in 2000, where it has remained the predominant force in steering this country away from runaway capitalism, getting big money out of government, strengthening social programs, etc. So glad to have witnessed the heroic and inspiring Ralph Nader bring real and lasting solutions to the challenges that America once faced...looking back on the pivotal 2000 election, it truly fills one's heart with pride for having witnessed our country move forward, united and working together to secure the future!
