Over the years, they grew angry, resentful, and revengeful...

Because their Party kept disappointing them.

Now, they are like pouting children standing behind Donald Trump. They know he is not qualified to be the leader of this country. But they don't care.

They understand his tactics of insults and mudslinging. But they don't care.

They know there is a chance that Donald Trump has not paid any taxes for the last 30 years. But they don't care.

Because it is not about our country or "making America Great" again. It is about something much more petty and small. It is about stabbing America in the back. But they don't care.

1. Gotta say, I don't agree.

trump supporters don't want to stab America in the back. They actually believe trump is taking back America from a corrupt system. They are not wrong about the system, but they are very wrong about the candidate.

It just so happens that Trump is the non establishment candidate and is benefiting from the timing of the voters rejecting the party.

6. That's certainly a big part of it. And it is good they are rejecting that party.

It is just too bad trump is the guy, although in that party I don't know that they've got anyone better. They've really gone off the right wing cliff.

8. Yeah the whole party including the voters are very bigoted that is for sure.

I think the voters would probably like someone who would keep the crazy right wing social policies but help the working class out more, better wages and such. Everybody whether Democrat, Republican or Independent is hurting economically and all are demanding candidates address the issue of income inequality and rich, corrupt politicians.

That is what this is really about.

Rubio supporters...

But trump's coalition is broader than that. They didn't reject all the big name r candidates because of Obama's election. There is much more to it--including giving a big middle finger to the republican establishment.

"Build the damn wall" and all of this anti Latino shit is by no means new, any of the non Bushie types will give you all of that.

Anti Arab? Have you missed these folks over the last 15 years or so?

Black people? Been a long time since Lincoln, they can't even stand for us to vote so that automatically tells you there is a pervasive less than human factor still going strong.

Being a TeaPubliKLAN in this day and age is essentially a reaction to the existence other than as property of any black man point blank period. They didn't need Trump or Obama to act like shit flinging monkeys.

Bigotry is one of the chair legs of the Republicans along with theocracy, an absurd military that eats like 100% of receipts up to shenanigans all the time, and making business class the ruling class. It has long been one of if not the primary vote driver for them.
Take away the bigotry and looney theocracy and they wouldn't have enough CEOs and neocons to fill a coļlege football stadium.

If those people have been completely unrepresented by either party for years, then how is that any less of a stab in the back than what they are considering doing now?
