Clinton allies blame Bernie for bad polls/The Hill

It's all Bernies fault that she can't attract voters in the GE!!!

http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/280994-clinton-allies-blame-bernie-for-bad-polls

Hillary Clinton allies worried about polls that suggest a tightening general election match-up with Donald Trump are placing blame on Bernie Sanders.

They say that the long primary fight with the independent senator from Vermont, which looks like it could go all the way to the Democratic convention in Philadelphia, has taken a toll on Clinton’s standing in the polls. In the latest RealClearPolitics average, she is two-tenths of a point behind Trump, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee.

The surrogates say they’re concerned that Sanders is still — this late in the game — throwing shots at Clinton and the Democratic establishment.

“I don’t think he realizes the damage he’s doing at this point,” one ally said of Sanders. “I understand running the campaign until the end, fine. But at least take the steps to begin bringing everyone together.”

Meanwhile, Hillary has millions of more votes than the other 2 dolts still in the race, and Trump is beating Bernie by millions of votes, not Hillary.

Walmart too. She'll be a dependable servant for her corporate masters.

Of course, the voters don't seem to be inclined to vote for a corporate sellout this year...

Hillary is the presumptuous nominee; Bernie is just an annoyance, a trifle, a flea. Doesn't he know he's not allowed to win?

And that includes many Democrats who wish she were not the nominee.

That would be the case whether Bernie had run or not.

However, it is likely true that she will get a boost when the Democrats unite behind her. I do not think there will be much of one as she is extremely well known and she has been seen as the nominee since - at minimum - February 2013 when she stepped down as SoS.
Polls then had her at least 20 points ahead of nay Democrat or Republican. It has not been just the alternative of Bernie or that Trump is a good candidate - he is awful. It is that she has done things that have made her not popular with many of the independents who would consider Bernie. She has long polled behind Bernie with independents. Both Sanders and Clinton have the majority of their support from Democrats in polls against Trump, Sanders also has some support of from libertarians or conservative Republicans especially when paired against Trump. The fact that many of these people either go to Trump, undecided, or not voting when the choice is Clinton Trump does not mean this is Bernie's fault. She never had these people, nor did she ever think to appeal to them.

The damage was due to:
1) a lack luster book tour for a book where she opted to prove how much more a hawk she was than Obama to distinguish her fp from his. In recent debates, she has backtracked suddenly being all Obama on FP - claiming huge roles in second term accomplishments.

2) Her damn email - Bernie did NOT hit her on it, but the concern is out there with FBI, SD IG, Intelligence community IG, independent FOIA cases all not resolved.

by this Clintonian concept that issues brought up by Bernie Sanders would NEVER be brought up by the Republicans. As if they would never ever have thought of any of them.

Any struggles are on her campaign. I mean it is the campaign with the most votes and delegates and she is the most famous woman in the world. If she can't win against a reality show host/mogul/sexist/racist, I don't know what to tell you.

Yeah, let's blame Bernie and not take any responsibility for pushing an awful candidate who people don't like and don't trust. Yeah, that's BERNIE'S fault - he made her a bad candidate!

They need to take responsibility for her. And she needs to do so for her own actions. But I doubt that she/they will. It's always easier to blame others.

And privatize the trust fund? It's just a matter of time, IMO, because if she needs votes (and she likely will), she's shown that there are no promises she won't break, no social contracts she would be unwilling to rip up if doing so results in a win for HER.

It's not Bernie's fault that she can't seem to stop lying. I wonder if that's Bernie's fault or her own.
