Sorry, Hills - you don't get to decide which e-mails to hand over. The investigators asked for everything, you give them everything. If you don't, you're violating the law - I think it's called obstruction of justice.

I think there can come a time wherein ones reputation for being honest and trustworthy can fall to an untenable point. By untenable I mean people just won't be inclined to be defenders on that issue. So then you can easily move to the point where "everybody knows" it to be true.

Trump has a similar issue, on several fronts. We have his vulgarity, we have his propensity to spout laughably ill thought out statements. We have his making statements that hit people as racist, sexist, and/or hateful. Etc. The number of people who argue that this hasn't been part of his campaign is limited.

But what's worrisome about Trump is the precedent of Reagan. He couldn't separate his actual past from that of a movie he saw, but he got elected. "Let Reagan be Reagan". Truthiness prevailed.

So we really need to bring it in order to be sure he doesn't win. Playing any serious amount of time on defense on trustworthiness and honesty would be far from ideal.
