at the risk of splitting the party. I think this is going to end up hurting them. If this plays out in the media.. They will lose support not gain.

But they may well end up flipping--to someone or another. It's been quite a day, and more days like this are ahead. But the SD's are also aware that trying to shoehorn Biden or someone else in would start a war with Sanders supporters. So it's really tough to say what will or won't happen.
