What if it's not Biden but Warren that steps in?

Just a thought though. I know Elizabeth says that she's not interested and all that but this is trump we are talking about. This is too important!

Today's events should make it clear that it's at least a possibility that Hillary might have to step down. If so, I happen to think that Warren is the best person the DNC could come up with to heal the party. I also think it would make bernie more open to working out something instead of taking his revolution to the convention.

This is something that I've been thinking about as we need to come together somehow.

Did I mention that Warren has been landing body blows to trump lately? More so than ever and kinda out of the blue.

Bernie has earned the Presidency, putting up calmly (considering) with never ending attacks from Hillary, Debbie Wasserman Schultz and now Barbara Boxer.

Who I am sure see themselves as the Three Furies.

Please stop with the Biden stuff. Biden was never inspiring enough to unify the country. He's run before ad never made it into double digits.

For that reason he's little better than Hillary because he would be an arbitrary pick, confirming the suspicions of the nation that the Democratic Party has lost touch with democracy and lost its way.

But I'm trying to see how the messiness can be avoided. I like Biden but I can't Hillary's supporters excepting him as a replacement.

The fact that they are talking about replacing DWS openly tells me that there's movement happening behind the scenes to Bernie's favor.

But it is what I meant even though I didn't mean to take Bernie slot. That can't happen.

The fact remains that if Hillary has to drop out her delegates will go somewhere. That said I don't think the superdelegates would pick someone who was chosen over Bernie who fought for his votes. A deal will have to be made tho to avoid a messy fight.

Step in for what?

Who needs to step in for anything?

And both Biden and Warren have both spoken out about their intentions.

Biden isn't running and Elizabeth Warren isn't either. (Apparently she likes the Senate, and good for her.)

And no, neither Bernie nor Hillary will be opting for a VEEP spot either.

Dem majority in the Senate and we have a chance of getting one with her coattails. And who knows, we may have some luck in the House, too, though that is a tougher nut to crack.

Also, EW is a northeasterner, and given the enthusiasm for balance, I think she'll go more west. Who knows, though? I'd bet money EW stays in the Senate, unless Charlie Baker gets impeached.

Elizabeth Warren is going to be the pied piper who helps the disappointed Sanders brigade pivot to Clinton for the general. It is my belief that this long game has already been coordinated.

It won't be Sanders. He's "berned" those bridges. Also, he's from the northeast. Further, he's in the 65 and up club by almost ten years.

The pick will be someone younger, an up and comer. I would not rule out a woman or other political minority.

There is the Indian thing, which Trump would have great fun bringing up.

There is also the fact that she was a Republican during the 1990s. This is different than Hillary Clinton being a teenaged Goldwater girl. Warren was a grown professional woman, and the 90s GOP was the party of Newt Gingrich. She'd have to explain that better than she has done so far.

But if we are going down the someone other than the two we have road, Biden/Warren could be a helluva ticket. My misgiving there is that if elected, the Governor of Mass. is a Republican, so we'd likely see Scott Brown (again) in her former Senate seat. So in this unlikely scenario, I'd favor Biden/Franken.

People love him. He has more experience than Warren.

Biden has been vice president under Obama and is to establishment to be a good counter to a Trump candidacy.

Voters in general want change for the better, not more of the Obama administration.

That is not a criticism of Obama but just a statement about the mood of the electorate. It's a year for a lot of change. Bernie is the right candidate for the Democratic Party.
