2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumCould they want DWS out to put in an Obama/Biden puppet?
Wouldn't that make it easier to make Biden the nominee (implement the rumored plan B)?
And of course Bernie and his supporters would be blamed. That does seem to be a central theme this cycle.
Note: Biden and Obama have come to DWS defense (they even scroll that fact on the propaganda channels). So if Clinton was forced out (though that is kind of hard to envision) I guess that might win her allegiance. Seeing someone defend Ms. Payday Lender does make you go hmmm...

(12,685 posts)if they had their own puppet heading the DNC?
Maybe the accolades from Obama and Biden are considered sufficient to bring her to their side but maybe not?

(20,176 posts)I have friends from college that are Congressional staffers, some of them very high up in that regard...there are a lot of elected Democrats in federal-level office that just outright want her gone from the DNC and wouldn't be sad to see her shuffled out of Congress too.
You're very committed to the delusion that there is no Democratic call for her to be shit-canned. I'm starting to wonder if you work for DWS...or are DWS.

(10,751 posts)...that statement is both funny and unserious.
Remember: we are talking about a Democratic politician who declined to support DEMOCRATIC candidates for office in her own state, and who in fact did photo ops with and campaigned for REPUBLICAN candidates. Because they were "her friends". And you would have us believe that she defines what it means to be a loyal Democrat?
Puhleeze.

(8,541 posts)I have to agree with this. I can't seeing Obama or the DNC giving DWS the hook right in the middle of an election. That's unless there's something we don't know.

(45,319 posts)I think such lenders should be outlawed, Debbie says such lenders should be protected and assisted in their shakedowns.
So where do you stand on that?
Bluenorthwest
(45,319 posts)cannabis, such as our own. Debbie is a Drug Warrior. Debbie has supported Republicans over Democrats because the Republicans are her friends. Debbie strongly supports and seeks legislation favorable to Pay Day Lenders who are predators exploiting the economically vulnerable in this country. These positions are not favored in this Party.
Worse, under her 'leadership' we have lost the House, the Senate and many State Houses and Governor's offices. Even if her policies were golden, her results are an indictment of her abilities.

(12,685 posts)protect you from predators like pay day lenders.
Bluenorthwest
(45,319 posts)her. Predatory lenders taking advantage of the poor does not even bring a response. The OP just ignores that fact, ignores both the victims and their plight in order to just talk around that massive issue.
If the OP really supported Debbie, the OP would defend her positions. The OP needs to come out in favor of Pay Day Lenders or admit that there is an issue on the table regarding Debbie.

(3,937 posts)Are those for becoming the nominee at the DNC or being the Dem candidate in November? If the latter, then a bet against Hillary seems attractive since so many things can (and already have) happened this year.
