Either the President knew about her idiotic email scheme and let it slide, or he didn't know and the buck stops with her.

Or the President knew, still communicated with her wack-assed @clintonemail.com address and is also entangled in this clusterf@ck.

For instances, she could say no one told her that the email was taken down because of fear of hackers. That she continued to use the server without any real additional security. However, there was an email that showed that one of her team - Huma ?- knew this had happened.

However, I think the best guess is that there will not be charges. There will be more embarrassing reports from other investigations. They will take a toll on how HRC is perceived. I still think she will get the nomination -- and the Republicans are giving us a huge gift in the form of a really unacceptable nominee - so I think she will take office as a very wounded President. There will be no honeymoon - even one as brief as Obama's.

What really gets me is the chutzpah of not just leaving the SD email when she left. From September 2011 on, she KNEW there would be many inquiries and eventually the SD would figure out that they really did not have a sufficient number of her email. She ARROGANTLY wanted them to stonewall for four years for her. Galling - as there was nothing in the emails that made her look as bad as she looks BECAUSE SHE TRIED TO HIDE THEM.

This has damaged her reputation enormously. What do you think caused her to be seen as dishonest or not trustworthy by around half of the country?

I do not think she will be indicted, but I do think that EVERY case will end with a summary that includes - like this one did - many things where she will be said to have broken rules or Obama guidelines or showed poor judgement. In fact, if you ever read the Senate speeches of Democrats on whether to remove Bill Clinton, I suspect the FBI/DOJ summary to look like all of them. They all spoke, in their own ways of what they considered he did wrong, they followed that with a case for why it did not reach the high crimes and misdemeanor level.

Better than an indictment, but not the glowing reviews that are typically given a nominee before the convention. Hopefully, it will be balanced by many negative stories on just how unacceptable Trump is. This will be an ugly, uninspiring, demoralizing election where it might be that over half of the people voting are really not happy with their choice.

My mentioning the "Indictment Fairy" was a sarcastic jab at those that brought the term to DU.

I also don't expect Hillary Clinton to be indicted and probably Clinton will survive to be the Democratic nominee and maybe POTUS.

If Clinton is so cornered to not be Democratic nominee, I would expect Democratic establishment to attempt and probably succeed in having Biden or Kerry as Democratic nominee ( I would greatly favor Kerry in that scenario).

Trump is unacceptable and his best route to POTUS is through Hillary Clinton.

I supported the Clintons in the 1990s but already by 2008 I was any Democrat but Hillary Clinton. Clinton's time as Senator, SOS, The Clinton Foundation, and POTUS candidate in 2008 only re-enforced my opinion that Clinton lacks the character and judgement to be POTUS or CIC.

from the entire primary season.

I think they would have difficulty gaining BOTH the Bernie and the Clinton people. I think for the Clinton people, Kerry might be the harder choice here because they might blame him - even though he did nothing he shouldn't have.

I say this even though there is NO politician - or statesman, which he genuinely is - I respect more than Kerry. His integrity and his ability are both well proven.

However though it would, of course, be completely non democratic, if happened that way, I would hope that Clinton and Sanders could agree on one person that they could speak to their supporters asking them to unite behind. One possibility could be Warren - who is well liked by both sides and is a woman, but who is not as tested and vetted as Biden and especially, Kerry.
