Pants in flames alert: All of Hillary's emails for the first several months

at State are missing. How many times did she falsely assure us that all work emails had been turned over. Her contempt for the American public and the President is astonishing.

And how sloppy can you be to co-mingle 30,000 personal emails with work emails?

And how smart creative smart people work varies, but that has nothing to do with her responsibility to maintain and turnover her work communications. I see no reason to believe she ever would have turned over her emails had she not been forced to.

"The Department conveyed this request to Secretary Clinton’s representative and
on November 6, 2015, the Under Secretary for Management reported to NARA that the
representative responded as follows:

"With regard to her tenure as Secretary of State, former Secretary Clinton has provided
the Department on December 5, 2014, with all federal e-mail records in her custody,
regardless of their format or the domain on which they were stored or created, that may
not otherwise be preserved, to our knowledge, in the Department’s recordkeeping
system. She does not have custody of e-mails sent or received during the first few weeks
of her tenure as she was transitioning to a new address, and we have been unable to
obtain these. In the event we do, we will immediately provide the Department with
federal record e-mails in this collection."

And no sent emails until April 12, 2009.

You quote from Hillary's representative means very little. That is not a finding of the OIG.

Look, she fucked up. Accept it. Not only with the three month gap, she violated the record retention law.

There is a lot in the report that can't be wished away. And there is a lot that suggests there are even still more shoes to drop.

May 2016
January 21, 2009 - March 29, 2009: During this two-month time period, Clinton's private email server operates without the standard encryption generally used on the Internet. During this time, Clinton and her aides exchange emails discussing "North Korea, Mexico, Afghanistan, military advisers, CIA operations and a briefing for Obama." Some of the emails will later be redacted, including one written to Clinton about Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai. In late March, top aide Jake Sullivan emails Clinton a draft of a confidential report she is to make to President Obama. "Attached is a draft of your Mexico trip report to [Obama]," the email states. (The Washington Post, 3/27/2016) During these two months, Clinton travels to Belgium, Switzerland, Egypt, Israel, Palestine, Turkey, Mexico, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, and China. Her emails would have almost no defense against eavesdropping by foreign intelligence and hackers during all those trips. Furthermore, some intelligence agencies are known to attempt eavesdropping around this time. For instance, at a world leader summit in April 2009, British intelligence sets up fake Internet in the hope that government ministers and their staff will use them so their communications can be intercepted. (ComputerWorld, 3/11/2015)

The trouble with this environment is that there is no ability to deal with real world complexity. She was wrestling with a system that the whole OIG describes as hopelessly flawed. People didn't even want to tell new employees the "rules."

But this is typical of Hillary smear campaigns.
